1. Trade fair overview
WiCHMANN Group at FMB 2025: Three days full of innovation and drive
From November 4 to 6, 2025, FMB, the established trade fair for mechanical engineering suppliers in Germany, took place once again at the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center. As exhibitors, we had our own booth for the second time this year to showcase our core competencies in the field of drive shafts and electric motors.
2. Our main topics at the trade fair stand
Focus on drive solutions: From drive shafts to remanufacturing
Drive shafts & drive technology
At the WiCHMANN Group stand, our team demonstrated how we implement customized drive shaft solutions for commercial and rail vehicles, the steel and paper industry, OEMs, and much more.
Electric motors & remanufacturing
Under the umbrella of Wölfer Elektromotoren, the focus was on sustainability and efficiency: remanufacturing electric motors as a value-adding service for existing machines.
Network & cooperations
The trade fair offered an excellent opportunity to meet existing customers, make new contacts in mechanical and plant engineering, and approach interesting cooperation partners in the remanufacturing sector.
3. Highlights & insights
What remains: impressions, ideas, and perspectives from FMB 2025
-
High-quality visitors: many buyers, designers, and production managers visited our stand, providing ideal opportunities for direct feedback on our solutions.
-
Trend toward sustainability in mechanical engineering: There was greater demand for remanufacturing and maintenance of electric motors, which is perfect for our offerings.
-
Intensive technical discussions: Our flexible solutions for commercial vehicles of all brands and our certification for rail vehicles (e.g., DIN EN 15085-2 CL1) were particularly in demand.
-
Good vis-à-vis with start-ups and digitalization: Young companies and digital topics were also present – a good opportunity for us to consider collaborations in newer fields (e.g., smart motors).
We would like to thank all visitors, customers, partners, and interested parties for visiting our booth at FMB 2025. You enriched the exchange and provided important impetus.
➡ If you would like to learn more about our solutions in the areas of drive shafts, electric motors, or remanufacturing, we are happy to assist you.
